I've had a great offer for my car but the buyer would like me to deliver it, and to be frank I don't want to spend all day travelling so was
wondering what it would cost roughly so I can advise the potential buyer.
The car is in Filton (Just north of Bristol) and is going somewhere nere Winchester, what should I expect? I can't seem to get a quote without
post codes and I don't have one for the potential buyer.
Have you tried Shipley
I'll have a look.
Ask him for the postcode. also, stating the obvious, make sure it is all paid for in advance etc. He may b after free delivery.
Saying that, it is 90 miles, I am guessing about £100-180ish depending if they can tie it to another job (where shipley comes in handy)
i know a guy who does if for cash. hes ok too. took my mnr to south of france and has since collected my caterham fron kent and a volvo s60. u2u if you want details
Anybody local who you would trust who fancies a drive in return for a few beers and a return train ticket?
Should he not be the one arranging transport? You may get there and he changes his mind or makes you a much lower offer.
When does he need it?
I've hired a transporter on the 25th Feb to take my car from Crawley to Hereford. On the way back the truck will be empty.
I'll be heading close to Bristol and can drop via Wincester when i return the truck to Horsham. Do you want to offset some of the cost?
Thanks for the offers. I'm not arranging it, I've already told them that, I just said I'd see if I could find out what it would cost for them so they can decide if they're willing to come up and see it as I know from experience it's a horrible journey (One of the reasons I'm not up for delivering it).
