Saw this in someones front garden on a trip to London this weekend, quite sad.

That takes Britsh Racing Green to a whole different level.

Never seen an MNR improperly registered. When I spoke to them they wouldnt even let people put Q plates on them, they insisted on Age related or new (not sure how thats possible once someones built the kit though)

Make him an offer for it. You know you want to.

"I thought all Duttons were unloved "

I was thinking that, but wasnt brave enough to post it !

As someone on here would get all shirty and upset,

They might have that intention but, once sold the product is out of their control, and I've seen an MNR registered as a Dutton over here.

I'd still have one over most Robin Hoods (GBS Zero excepted).

That a bit like saying you'd rather be eaten by a shark than a crocodile............

Poor old car. They weren't really too bad in their day. Ive often thought about rescuing an old Dutton as a project. So long as the chassis was largely sound it wouldn't be too much work to change the suspension and tweak the bodywork.

Grimsdale - 11/3/13 at 04:18 PM

apparently it belongs to Stirling Moss....

balidey - 11/3/13 at 05:41 PM

The grass is always greener.... on the other window

maccmike - 11/3/13 at 06:12 PM

british stationary green I think that is.

That dutton was in a right mess, chassis that could be seen was really rotten. I have found it on google maps and it obvioulsy hasnt moved for years or decades!

You want to hear sad? I know someone with a COPY of a Dutton. It is years away from running.

morcus - 1/4/13 at 10:07 PM

Off course it's not moved, some bozo has built a wall around it and trapped it in...

SCAR - 2/4/13 at 07:45 AM

That's Tim Dutton's factory demonstrator
