I think I just beat swmbo at her own game, she killed her berlingo last week, and for some reason decided she'd like a Renault scenic.
Me, being a kind and caring individual agreed to buy it, on the understanding any time/money spent on it outside normal car wear and tear gets equaled
on the toy car.
Needless to say, I'm half way to affording an IVA already (need 2 sets of window everythings, front strut mounts, inlet manifold seals and the
electric handbrake stabbing in the face)
Unfortunately applying the same principle to my wife's 98 Corolla wouldn't get me much as absolutely nothing has gone wrong with it in the past 2 years

Wow Renault scenics about the most unreliable car going. So you'll have your car done in no time.

All that's gone wrong in a week? Why finish the kit save up for a Roller!
Nah, it came with those issues, all standard scenic problems, cheap enough and will tide her over until the insurance pays.
