My backs been good for nigh on two years now, so what-the-hell... I'm going back to 2 wheels.
Put a deposit down on this little fella today - Aprilia RSV1000R Factory.

Looks lovely by the way
Can I buy it for half you paid for it
Very jealous
I'll be selling my internal organs... first come first served basis - bargains assured!
PS - Thanks for the approving comments! I've always admired the Factory R... probably the best bargain in sportsbike history!
A Duke may be prettier, but a 916-998 with Ohlins, OZ forged wheels, carbon and brembos would easily cost twice the price of the Aprilia.. maybe 3 -
and it wouldn't go much faster!
Stunning.......I had an aprilla Falco, which had a detuned version of the engine in the RSV. just cracking bikes, and as you say, very good value.....enjoy, just keep an eye out for us car drivers!.
looks nice mate hope its loads of fun pal
Good choice.
I had an RSVR Mille - great bike - wheelies on demand. Monster torque, I swear I could have rode it without brakes, the engine braking was phenomenal.
It was very easy to do silly speeds on - after riding big revvy 4s the lazy revving V twin was deceptive in terms of revs vs speed.
Enjoy
And 2nd dibs when you sell it
Yummy! I've fancied an RSV for a very long time, the Falco was also on my radar for the same reasons. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford a Factory R though, my budget is closer to one of the first RSV's in 'fixer upper' condition!
Hard core. I don't think I would keep my license long.
Veeery nice Whatever you do, if you break any speed limits on the highway, don't go posting your antics on an internet forum........
Phil
Hey scootz,
does that mean that there will be a massive post apocalyptic sale?
Seriously - stay safe!
Baggsy the wheels and the Ohlins for my non-R RSV1000
love it - but you could have a picked a more back friendly bike!
TBH, it will probably get ridden once in a blue moon... just always fancied one and this turned up at the right price. May as well make hay whilst
the sun shines... my back feels great right now, but I guess that (and many other things) could all change in a heartbeat!
As my grandad would say... yer a lang time deed!
.. better translate - you're a long time dead!
Nice piece of kit
I have a 2001 RSVR. Its a fantastic bike but having done 200 miles in 7 years is a bit of a waste really!
