I thought this model was out-of-prodn, and in the "Classic" category. So how come it's got 2012 reg plate? And, moreover, what's
that grille on the front panel for?

It will be water cooled The last VW transporters on the UK had water cooled engine, a Golf unit hanging out the back coupled to the normal type
2 transaxle

Yep, you can buy them from Brazil, brand new.. grille on the front is to hide the radiator (some have a fake spare wheel cover on the front with lots
of holes in them for the rad).
Something like £26k I think?
Devon Conversions import them on a regular basis and camperise them, the WU plate is a devon registration

It's a Danbury I would guess. Production stops in Brazil this year I believe. £30 to £50k if you want one.
