If anyone comes across/knows someone keen to dispose of a 540 V8 must be the 4.4 V8, 286bhp version. Needs to be very cheap (high hundreds verging on 4 figs) must be a "good runner" etc, will take body damage, as will be a donor. Auto not a prob.

Prefer within a 100 or so miles of west Kent, but may travel further if it can be driven rather than trailered

What are you building it into, a Leugo or a wide bodied Haynes ?

you can get the smaller v8 thats 286bhp too?

Is it going in a GKD? very light engines the alloy blocked v8's.
