new project commences tomorrow!
daniel mason - 16/7/13 at 02:27 PM

the fury has gone today to a good home and will be hooning around cadwell, blyton, snetterton etc in the very near future. and now i can spill the beans on the project which is on budget and ideal as a beginners competition car.
its the ADR for sale on uphillracers, im collecting it tomorrow and its about to get a new powerplant in the back,
ill take some photos tomorrow and post.
i will not be racing the car but still looking to put a 1000cc motor in the back as its all i can afford for now!
i have some photos of it which ive downloaded but the files are not compatible with this site. any ideas how i can get them on here? cheers

What format are the images?

MS Paint will open most things and let you save them as JPEGs.

daniel mason - 16/7/13 at 02:48 PM

I'm not being rude, just genuinely curious. But what's the point in buying a competition car like that and then not competing? Is it just for trackdays?

daniel mason - 16/7/13 at 04:15 PM

sprinting in sports libre means i would need something decent. its mainly gonna be track car like radicals, spires etc
and at the price it was just too good to miss out on. very very cheap and i bet theres not many on here with a car which cost less!
by the time ive spent north of £2k on a new engine install ill be getting towards the cost of a budget kit car price

How can you spend 2k and still make it cost lest than Rons £250 sports car

Looks like a cool project Dan, Is this one a keeper?

I'm guessing I wont be seeing this flying up Barbon if your not competing?

Mark.

may do barbon and harewood but this means a full new set of rims with hillclimb slicks on unless i was to run on cold circuit slicks!

Lovely looking car and great project. Sounds like a bargain to!

unijacko67 - 17/7/13 at 10:20 PM

Dan you only need to keep it a few more days and it will qualify as a Dan Mason keeper. looks good.

daniel mason - 18/7/13 at 07:57 AM

has it qualified yet? had it 18 hours now!
on a serious note. it was always my ambition to get a budget single seater to learn in. just didnt think id get one for as low a price as i did!
