Loading Ramps
Scuzzle - 29/8/13 at 03:08 PM

I've got myself a lock up for my car but the entrance is too high and steep to get the car in without beaching it. What can I use as loading ramps I could pick up to help out that would not cost a fortune.
The car's not that heavy 800kg's I would reckon at a guess.

Cheers

Depending on the height/length you require a couple of scaffold planks (or half lengths) supported by an engineers brick underneath at half distance should be good.
HTH.

That's the way.

Scaff planks for the win.

Just screw some blocks of wood (cut of ends of scaff plank) to the underside in the right places to support it as required. Simple. Can prolly get a pair of 'failed' scaff planks for free if you know where to go.

Cheers guys, found someone on Gumtree selling scaffold planks for £3, I can live with that.
