Got a mate who wants a new dash for his Locost 7 (according to the V5) and my Locost one doesn't fit (see pics) so we need to know what the car
is so he can get the appropriate dashboard panel.
I think I know what the car is, but I want a second opinion.
Pictures Here
The widest point of the dash is 1140mm and 380mm tall at the centre.
These are the same dimensions as a widebody westfield IIRC.
It's a capri rear axle.
Any ideas?
Whole idea of a locost is most are custom made, could just be someone made a wider/narrower one to suit their body frame?

Dunno, but what's with the coil-bound front coils??
Looks like a make one yourself job to me
Defo a home brew based upon an old Capri by the looks of it.
Needs a fair bit of work, those front springs are nasty !

Definately some strange things going on with the car. Steering column looks very low and why the funny welded extrensions on the steering rack?

He'll have to make a dash for it, it might as well be called Brian. It's too square for Westfield dash
Needs to change the shocks and also look at having stronger bottom arms to take the weight, that set up is okay for a 1.3 or 1.6 kent engine but wont survive the weight of a V6 my zetec caused the bottom whishbones to bend
