Did an interview with BBC radio Essex last week & it's snowballed somewhat! I am now on MSN, was on the homepage yesterday, don't think
it is anymore
Link
Do me a favour & share it around a bit - nothing like a bit of free publicity!

I spotted your piccy on MSN but other than the headline, I could find the story!!
You should just be able to click on the pics & editorial comes up underneath - works for me, may be a browser issue?
Shared on my twitter account - And yes Im still after brake lines for the Fiat, just havent got that far yet.....
Oh the fame!
I would just love to build me one of those but there is no way on God's good earth I am ever going through IVA again!
I also checked out the other story on there too, about the guy who has built the majority of a BAR Honda F1 in his shed! Top stuff
You know you made Joe Saward's amazing F1 blog too?
Cheers,
James
Hi James, No I didn't, thanx for letting me know, these things seem to get shared around everywhere once there's a few pics out there!

A bit unkind I thought!
"The Essex F1 car will accelerate 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds, before going on to reach a top speed of 130mph.
Although you'd have to be a pretty brave chap to do that sort of speed in a car built in a shed in Essex..."
You'd also probably get nicked! These articles are always somewhat tongue in cheek, I've had the car up to around 140 & it's still shoving you in the back hard at that point! I really don't need to find out how fast it will ultimately go, let's face it anything with a flat floor is going to get very exciting if you get the nose airborne for any reason - see Mark Webber for details!

Reversing direction of rotation of rotational tyres on non-driven wheels can improve braking & cornering! Fact!
