Using the "other" car for Autosolos/Track Days presents a problem in that rather than sh*g decent road tyres I take a scrubbed-in set to use
on the day.
That's fine when there are two of you i.e. the entered car and a support car but not so good when going solo as there's only space for two
wheels and not a lot else.
So my thoughts for next season are to build a single wheel trailer.
From what I can see these trailers attached to the chassis so are rather like a self-supporting luggage rack with a swivel wheel.
On the Eunos there is the possibility to use the chassis mounted towing eyes (maybe beefed up a bit) to locate the trailer without having to fit a
towbar.
If it's low level will a trailer board be necessary?
Has anyone built one before, are there any plans out there and any suggestions (positive or negative)?
Thanks in advance.

Try cruiserlift.com then click swivel wheel transport system
For single wheel trailer, not single axel, which i think you are looking for. Never actually seen one but they look nifty.

Thanks guys but Slater ^^ is right it's a swivel action single wheel as opposed to a single axle I'm interested in.
Seems a tad pricey @ $1400 though
- maybe it's the swivel that's expensive.
Now where's that 25mm SST I tucked away?

An old bloke down the road from us used to have one that bolted to his bumper brackets on something like an old A35 and the wheel didn't swivel it just slewed sideways when he went round a corner and it didn't seem to do it any harm.
Can't see a swivel wheel being legal!
Wow just had a look. No way would I have my pride and joy sitting on one wheel
What a totally terrible idea! (single wheel trailers)
But yes, a small trailer is a suitable option for getting to track days.
Although you can also fit wheel rack to the back of a seven type.
