I found this old pic in with my Grand fathers stuff. I think I know what the vessel is but there is some dispute over the ID on the car/van.
Mammoet
I think the logo is Mammoet heavy lifting
Mk1 escort surely?
Looks like a Mk1 Ford Escort to me.
Ask me how I know... affectionately known as sh*t brown, but it did go once wound up (relatively speaking).

Ford escort mk1, maybe the estate version. Have you seen the face looking out between the open door, spooky.
I thought Escort, but Mk2 not Mk1?
Knackered 4 door mk II escort, wings is squared off at the front.

Defo mk1, mk2 was much more angular.
Something about the rear/side window and chrome trim along the roof-line, makes me thing it is an MK1 Escort Estate.

Jon
(edited to add);
Also, MK1 and MK2 Estates were identical from the doors back over. Wings, bonnet, front panel and grill were about the only things changed on the MK2
Estate.
