Mk1 Focus ST170 - any good?

I'm considering changing my 10th Anniversary MX-5 for a tin-top as I keep having to juggle keys with Mrs C when I need to carry something (usually parts for the build.)

I've driven a Mark 1 Focus TDCI and was pretty impressed. What's the ST170 like?
