Must have a friendly MOT station as that is definitely not a Renault Gordini!
I believe MOT stations have been instructed to refuse MOTs to vehicles which are not as described in the V5C.
Drove one once years ago at the old Peterborough show, surprisingly quick even with a standard R5 engine and handled well. . Wasn't too keen on the gear lever, between my legs !

Am I missing something here?
Who said it is a renault gordini?
I read 'gordini based' Hudson KIndred Spirit, but what does the V5c say on it?
My locost is mainly Ford Escort, V5c says Locost 7.

Hi,
I'm the guy selling the 3 wheeler,
I got the car about 2 yrs ago and haven't used it much. The guy i got it off had it since 2003 and i think he bought it off the original builder.
It was first registered as by this guy in about the mid 90s not sure of a of an exact date. This was all done pre-SVA and it seems it just stayed as
Renault 5 gordini on the log book but with a change taxation class to Tricycle.
The guy i bought it off had no problems with getting insurance for the kit car and i also have had no problems.
The m.o.t garagei took it too i did not know them at all and just dropped it off with all the paper work and log book for its Class 3 MOT. Which it
passed with no problems.
