Driving home from DJ'ing a disco early hours Sunday morning, about 2:30 in the morning despite what the camera says lol.
I have a 6' box trailer hooked up to the car, and full of our gear so its on its max weight limit.
local taxi just pulls out in front of me, couldn't of been looking as I'm lit up like a coca cola truck at Christmas.
Goes to show that driving at the correct speeds saves having an accident when someone else makes a mistake. I had time to react, there was enough room
and i was watching what i was doing. it could of been worse.
Youtube
action from 45seconds onwards
looking at the video i'm going to get a better camera this is just a cheap £20 ebay job, but worth the money.
What do you expect it was a taxi
In Hull they just do U turns right in front of you no signaling at all
Jacko
Wish i had one of those fitted last year when a taxi driver crashed into me accidentally on purpose, then claimed for a written off car, neck injuries and £13,000 worth of car hire......my van suffered a scuffed wheel in the incident and a slight mark to the paintwork on the wheel arch, i never even claimed for the damage, but still lost my no claims as was unable to disprove his version of the accident.
Now I know why you require trailer brakes! Not required here until trailer weight loaded is 1360 kg.
looking at the video it came to a nice controlled stop, twin axle blue line on 8" wheels. i was doing roughly 40mph.
Who was doing the illegal beeping just before the event?
me two birds waving at us lol
lol
You're one of those who wake me up pointlessly beeping are you....
