I have been following these guys as what they are doing is amazing

Seriously worth a watch just for some amazing fabrication skills, and a good laugh!

wow some great work going on there

I've just watched all 5 episodes - very amusing and some great work being done. I particularly liked the opening titles (in the style of Police Squad)!

I'm extremely jealous of their building frame, which would have been very useful when I built my car. The use of CAD was impressive (Cardboard Assisted Design) and resulted in some amazing fabrication.

...and if anyone's interested, the Latin on their whiteboard means "Romans go home" - I have no idea why it's there!

The rear chassis rails are very clever.

The next episode can't come quick enough.

I think you'll find it says 'People called Romanes they go to the house'

I have been watching it too. Most enjoyable. Building and writing magazine articles is tough going so building filming and presenting I can only imagine. If I remember correctly about 3 hours of filming plus another 3 hours in the editing room equates to about 1min of professional film output like that.

Romanes Eunt Domus? Write it out a hundred times before sunrise!!!

Great series of videos! Will there be any original car left once all the tin worm infested parts are replaced.....

I used Google Translate - I know three-fifths of nothing at all about Latin, so I go to the experts...

For anyone who hasn't seen the Life of Brian? If not (and can spare the 3 mins).

Just watched and realised I recognised the voice of the commentary. Scroll back to start and realised it is Richard Brunning! Blimey haven't seen him in years!

Aha! NOW I understand!

woodster - 23/4/14 at 06:21 PM

Just wondering with so much brilliant fabrication and not much of the original mini left will it just be for track and rallying or would it still be road legal on its V5 and number plates ???
