rear sensor kit

Hello,

no , i am not planing to put a rear sensor kit on my Tiger or my XTR2 !

I received monday my new BMW GT 318d.

When i placed the order 4 month ago , i forgot to order the rear sensors (PDC) or reversing camera

So today i asked at the garage if it as possible to retrofit the rear sensor kit and the answer was clear : yes it is , and it will cost you around 1.300 €

So i was thinking in placing by myself a rear sensor kit .
I found lots of them on ebay , Amazon and many other sites.

is there a model some of you have experienced and would recommend ?
May be some of you are BMW drivers and have experience in the retrofit of reversing camera ?

Any feedback is welcome,

Gerardo

I've not tried any of the kits, but my preference would be a camera. I had one (standard) on a Nissan Primera where the rear windscreen is too high to see anything much when reverse parking and it was great - could position my towball within a couple of millimetres of a wall or the car behind in a carpark; could also see my trailer and reverse it exactly where I wanted it.

I have a camera on my lambo, it's great goes straight to the head unit.

I am looking at these as well:
