What's the interest with Duttons? Are they rare or something? To me they're just f ugly...

Hi guys...... Yes it certainly is a real one, has original dutton chassis plate with stamped chassis number and the paperwork with it too...... They
are rare now though, not that many left.
Ive just bitten off more than i can chew with the build..... Time to let it go to someone who can finish it

They have character, looks like a billy bargain to me.
It may not go around bends like a chapman or Haynes, but it will still corner better than most cars.
I have a sort of bizarre yearning to put a 'proper' chassis in one and drive it around
joneh don't knock it till u have tried it

Yes it maynot be pretty looking, bit like a huge bugeye monster, but its light, responsive and would be very very quick once the zetec is in and running
I had a Dutton with a pinto and bike carbs it went well couldn't knock it

I also had a Dutton s4 quite a few years ago, pinto 2.1 powered, for what it was it was great fun
