No doubt like others I've collected quite a few mags over the years.
Some mainstream like PPC, Motorsport and Classic & Sportscar, some specialist like the now defunct Italian Bike and Velocette Owners Club
Fishtail.
They're not complete collections but amount to quite a few e.g 50 PPC's from the early noughties.
Looking at fleabay PPC seems to be on offer at more than their cover price.
Question is do I sell them individually, offer them as job lots (say by year) or re-cycle them?
What do you do?
Cheers, Pewe10
Offer them up for sale, then re-cycle if there are no takers.
So what you offering, Scootz?
Cheers, Pewe10
Offer as a job lot by title and then recycle if no takers.
I had a huge number of old car magazines from over the years until recently. I saw an advert in the local co-op where a dad wanted old car magazines
for his son (autistic and loves cutting out pictures of cars and sticking them in collages) so they all went there. I've just kept half a dozen
magazines with some favourite articles/cover cars etc
I'd do job lot or recycle/give away. Cba with individual listings for dozens of mags
For me it's too much of a faff to sell them individually, so I sell them as job lots on eBay. Doesn't achieve a particularly high price but it seems a shame for them to be pulped or end up in land fill.
Local GP
Local hospital
My daughter takes them to work for the kids to cut up
Another vote for the GP, Hospital and Hospice.
The Hospice gets the majority of my magazines and books, the residents (lets face it) are on the road to a very uncomfortable and painful death, quite
a few don't seem to enjoy looking through endless copies of Vogue and Good Housekeeping....
I binned a whole stack of mags years ago and now wish I hadn't so.......
