My V70 D5 SE fully loaded, 6speed geartronic with hu850 radio, 06 plate was £4000 @ 138,000 miles

Saloon petrol would be less at this age irrespective of miles.

I tend to find out the following way:

List it on Ebay, accurately and informatively with no reserve, auction, starting at ca. £50 or so.
What it sells for is what it's 'worth'.

Search for similar cars on autotrader and have a look

not many of them about - 97-98 model ?

if its std , not been messed with , not any major work needed then about £1500 as a conservative estimate .

that may go up or down depending on the condition ...

try the VOC or T5d5.

oh it MUST be manual ... at 80k has the cambelt been done ?

Yeah it's an 1997 it is as clean as I spent over 2years trying to track the best one down, it's a auto and the cam belt has been done. It's a bloody flying machine
