It's coming up the time when I need to replace some of the 4' lighting tubes in my garage. Many of the fixings just came with the standard
crappy bulbs in them, and they're no longer bright enough and the wrong colour for what I'm after. They're currently a bit orangey, but
I'd like a bright white/daytime light if possible.
Only problem being that there's such a wide array of tubes and LED options available that I have no idea what to get for the best. I've got
10 tubes that are due for change, so what ever I go for needs to be the right thing as I don't want to be wasting loads of money swapping them
out again. That's also what's putting me off LEDs a bit, as they look like being a lot more money. But if they're worth it I could do a
few at a time.
So what options can folk suggest or recommend for me? I don't have a budget in mind as such, other than the usual as cheap as possible!
Just buy the cheapest ones the difference with 10 tubes wouldn't be worth the extra.
I have tried the led ones which are good but a few friends have moaned about head aches..
I had 3 lights for a huge garage if you have 10 I'm sure the light is fine anyway.
Only thing I did was added 500 watt halogen lights by the table with led bulbs for some extra light.
Good luck

Might be worth getting some 5ft fittings and getting 5ft Flourcent Led tube//One Electrical, More than 100 sold, this is final listing which are the best price I've seen for a branded 5ft LED.
Half the lights are recessed into the ceiling so I can't change them for anything longer. I'll see what I can find for daylight bulbs then and go with the cheapest!
