At that price it is a fantastic bargain, if I had the money spare just now I would buy it and store it for my next project.

Its worth the money just to look at it!

Only trouble is they have a pathetic torque rating.... and I know the quaife ones were riddled with reliability issues. Not sure about the Elite ones.

For comparison the last transmission I built is good for 1500hp/1500lbft.... And it has paddle shift

There were a few tales of woe with input shafts breaking and gear issues in the old version, but i believe they have sorted that now.

To be fair though i think some folks were using wide slicks and engine braking coming dowm the box which stressed the shafts.

a Mate has ordered one and its on the way for his Cossie powered Mk1 Escort

They do an IL300 version aswell iirc

David loomes is the man to talk to regarding these! He's been trying to kill his box for a few years sprinting a double driven westfield with a15 avons!
