I'm in the middle of rebuilding the engine on a recently acquired Smart Roadster Coupe (for my wife) and wondered if there was any way of visually inspecting the clutch for wear? The flywheel and clutch is all one part with no obvious means of disassembly and you can't see the edge of the friction plate.
Chap who is in the same Motor club as me runs one.
I'll see if I can find his contact details unless Loggyboy has Aarons contact info?
Cheers, Pewe10
I can find out for you! I used to be the smart and Mercedes product trainer for the UK.
Will make a call tonight

Thanks, I knew LCB would come to the rescue
I found this clutch change guide on FQ101.co.uk. Seems that the clutch is just lightly pressed together and can be fairly easily dismantled by simply levering the two halves apart. Will have a go tonight.
