Hello guys.
I have a trouble with a 2001 Volvo v40 with Renault 1.9 di common rail engine.
The trouble is that when I start warm engine it takes about 4 to 10 sec to run it.
When it is cold starts in 3sec.
I have checked all wirings . connections.starter . Battery. Timing belt. Hall crankshaft sensor. Hall camshaft sensor.Injectors over fuel was
measured.
Injectors were checked on Bosch station.all good.
The car runs smooth. Engine work excellent good power and accelerate. No fault codes in ECU.
Pressure on Common Rail while starting engine is 250 - 290 Bar
High pressure dumpvalve on CR ok.
I also change temp sender.
no change at all.
Any idea what.s matter.
At the end of this story I figure it out one thing.
warm engine. When i stoped and starts again Then stoped and starts again engine it starts in half turn of crank.
Apreciatte in any advice...thx in advance.

I can't offer any real help but 250kpa is about 40psi, which will definitely give you a starting problem, are you sure it wasn't 250bar?
Cheers

U r right 250 bar to 290 bar while starting.
I would try a crank sensor, since these are a common failure on the DCi 1.9 and tend to fail when hot.
