Installed and ran the earlier Stag 4 system for 5 or 6 years, good quality system the firmware was good as was as was the setup software. It took me about 20 hours to install and get a useable setup but I made the installation more difficult by useing a large cylinder tank and also the rooting of wiring to the passenger compartment on my car threw up some problems. With the Stag the wiring loom is cloth wrapped and could do with a bit more protection in the engine bay Only problems I had in the time I used it was a sticking solenoid valve (WD40 job) and temperature sensor with broken connection.
Stag were very good at keeping up to date firmware available with updates every couple of months. My Stag 4 only had 2d mapping but Stag released firmware that updated it to 3d.

I used a Tomasetto AT-09 Alaska Reducer/Vaporiser and Valtek 3ohm injectors.

The King system is good also being a re-branded A.E.B.

Cheers.

What size was the engine? I am looking at a 1.8 140hp-ish. The Alaska sits just at the edge of that 140 figure.

118 HP

Regulator size depends a lot on ambient temperature during the very bad winter a few years back I switched to the Artic model which is higher rated, the only difference between the two is the has a small extra heating stage sandwiched on to the rear of unit. It didn't really make any difference.
