Hi all going to france on saturday and the car use's 90mm hella lamps, does anyone out there know how to flatten the dip beam, I've tried tape in all sorts of place's with no luck, any help would be great....
Presumably these are projector lamps? If so the beam shape is defined by a mask within the lamp, you won't have much luck with bits of tape on
the front of the unit.
Sometimes the mask can be fitted in an alternative position for LHD, so this is worth checking.
When I went to europe in the kit I brought a Hella headlight kit from Halfrauds.
It is too little sticky patches with instructions. Depending on car lens design you select the shape and location. It seemed to work for me but even
if you get pulled over, at least you tried!!!
Am I right in saying if only driving during the daylight hours you dont need anything?
Last time I went in the tintop I fitted the stickers, never used them, made a right mess, never fully cleaned it off before changing car!
Both times I have gone to france/germany in the kitcar I have not fitted anything, nor driven at night, but they are flat-beam dominators.
