Finding original ford part numbers
AndyW - 24/1/16 at 08:01 PM

Just wondered if there is an easy and accurate way to get ford part numbers from the web. Done a couple of searches but not sure which site is correct. Need a couple of items and rather than getting cheap I would rather have genuine ford parts.

Any help appreciated.

What age of car?

this site can be helpful but will give you multiple part numbers for lots of things with no indication as to which one is available or not - and won't tell you which variant matches your chassis number either if there is an option..

May or may not help you, but I found the parts counter in my local (Winchester UK) Ford dealer very helpful when building my Sierra based MK Indy. He was that interested I took the car to show him after passing the SVA.

ETA...the guy was very happy to look through old fashioned microfiche parts sheets to help find the parts I needed.

Yes, I also found the bloke on the parts counter at the Ford dealer very helpful. Found everything I needed still in stock for next day delivery.

Try here for old obsolete part numbers, the listings are not 100% complete but those that are have been taken from original microfiche.

The other people I found helpful were Burton Power who supply a lot of Ford compatible parts.
