bit of a long shot but worth a try

anyone work for bmw im after a service history print for a 1 series bmw that a mate has can provide the reg as required

If you contact bmw they will give you a copy foc

i contacted the local bmw franchise who where no help what so ever ?

They'll normally only provide that information to the registered keeper, and sometimes ask you to bring in the V5 (and sometimes driving licence too - with matching addresses). You'll have to speak to someone in the service department though, not any old customer service assistant [no disrespect meant to anyone who does this as a job].

It is quite readily available information on the system, but sometimes they'll ask you why you want the information - when I did it years ago it was because previous owner had lost the service book, so I ordered a new one from the parts department and asked the dealer to stamp it according to their records which they happily did.

Take the key in, they can do it all just from that....
