Hi All
Just in case you didn't know (and sorry if this has already been posted), Emerald had a pretty serious fire in the workshop (rolling road) by the
sounds of it last week so are still in recovery mode.
So, if you're trying to make contact be patient. I sent them my K6 ECU for upgrade a couple of weeks ago and was getting pretty nervous as I had
no response to emails and phone calls.
Regards
Wyn
Blimey! Best wishes to Dave, Karl, Leoni and the guys, hope they get sorted soon
Speedy recovery guys, these folk are an honest company and a pleasure to deal with.
All the best guy's hope you get sorted soon. Always helpful and good service.
Hope everyone got out without any injuries,
Does anyone know how the guys are getting on or what state of recovery they are in? I dropped them an email last week but heard nothing, which is not like them at all.
John replied. They're still there.

I have a 10 month old baby and just moved into a house that needs alot of work.... sitting down with a magazine is a luxury i don't have. If I do
have spare time... I would be rather be out in car I have built.
Anyone going to let the cat out of the bag... I assume the guys are OK and back on their feet?
I had my car mapped at emerald after the fire, all back up and running. Apparently the fuel hose popped off some Ford thingy and because the fuel pump wasn't controlled by the ecu it kept spraying fuel over the hot engine even though it had stopped running. They're all back up and running but there's melted stuff in boxes to the side - Dave seemed quite upset about his melted keyboard! But they're all still there giving an excellent service.

In PPC, the same month as Emerald's fire was reported, the editor had his Capri burnt out in a garage while it was being worked on, it turned out the garage had no insurance so he has been left carrying the cost.
