About to take over No1 son's Puma which I reckon will make an ideal Autosolo/Trackday car.
(Never get anywhere near A/solo tinware with the Maz as that class is normally totally oversubscribed).
Problem is the brakes lack feel and need a hefty push to do anything despite being servoed.
I gather this is what the all do.
So question is how do I improve them?
I could try different pads but my feeling is it would be better to fit a smaller bore master cylinder.
Anyone know what/which m/c to go for as a direct replacement?
Any other suggestions?
TIA.

longer brake pedal, move the pivot point ?, might be worth comparing to a non servo fiesta MK 1

Before changing anything I'd suggest finding out what's wrong. I had a puma about 15 years ago and brakes were keen as mustard with standard
discs and genuine ford pads. A fluid flush and checking the servo isn't buggered would probably be my first ports of call.

Thanks for the input, guys.
Checking basics first stop as his brother's equivalent Fiesta was pretty in the brake dept.
