Not even a little Locost, my new car is a Zeus prototype powered by a Mussett Racing MR1500T.
and it looks like this
I'm going to enter the British Sprint Championship next year
Like that
Rock on!
WOW
It looks brutal, he doesn't even look like he's trying

The car has got within a sec of the outright Brands Indy lap record held by Scott Mansell of a 38.0sec with Robbie Kerr driving.
That looks fun, nearly as fast as my Striker!!!
You better change your signature, I doubt that is only 640Bhp ton.
Edited signature for you
Can't see that getting through an IVA test easily.
Funny you should say that.....
There is at least one road register Palmer Jaguar which is based on the Zeus.
palmer jag i drove was brilliant fun
Enjoy!
a worthy successor to the awesome Phoenix,...
I think the Phoenix needs a tribute gallery
Duncan Cowper... not seen that name in a while, but not surprised the lap was quick...
Holy shit! 1100bhp+ per ton!
I think that might be a bit of a stretch for "locost" builders though. Oh and... giz a go?
holy mother!!!
I really wish I could hide my jealousy better!!! I WANT I WANT I WANT!!!
Best of luck to you pal!

1.7 bar of boost
It's amazing that they can use Suzuki head and cylinders.
I,m sure you will enjoy, may be a bit tricky if it falls off boost I guess.
Don't know yet but paddleshift and clutchless changes will sort that out pretty quickly.
My RS4 was well over 2Bar of boost.

Sure, big boys toys rules apply.....you bend it, you mend it
lol

Coming along....
engine being built up
Interesting article

Some photos from the weekend. Won the class at Snetterton 100 (FTD by some margin as well) and won at a very dampy Cadwell on the last run of the
day. Not without its issues but the car is better now than it was on Saturday morning and I didn't damage it.
Even on low boost it is mental fast.
Damp track, 7.5K rpm and slicks

Jeff, it looks like a worthy successor - seriously quick too
I look forward to seeing it in person
PS this is when the site could do with a "like" button
Thanks Howard
Theres some serious work gone into that
It looks as good as it goes aswell
Best of luck with it
Cheers
Gun to a knife fight
More like a cruise missile to a playground scrap!
I'm annoyed that i didnt get to hear it launching or running the circuit. I assume its not out until next year now?
Probable not Cal although I'd like to do a track day for the insanity of it. Did think of the Mazda on Track Brands Indy day in December but it is fully booked. Dodging MX-5 10 at a time would have been fun.
That's one handsome looking machine!
