Hi all,
I have a sheet metal folder and the folding bar is secured by 6 M10 bolts. Now this is a PITA when folding large sheets as they all need to be nipped
and then undone for every fold. I am after a bolt with a kind of vice handle "Tommy bar" on the end so I can nip them by hand for thinner
sheets - has anybody seen such a thing?
Thanks,
Shaun
Many different types of handles on bolts - is this what you are looking for:
Ganter Gn6336.4-St-32-M6-20 Star Knob; Polyamid; Bolt
Or try "T Strap Bolts".

5 x M6 X 20mm 6x20 GERMAN MADE DIN316 WING BOLT WINGBOLT BUTTERFLY THUMB SCREW
Any good?
Something like this?

Is the metal into which the bolts go thick enough for countersink heads?
Allen drive (recessed) head countersink bolts are pretty readily available.
That way you could leave the bolts done up.
Hi all,
Thanks for the replies, the bolts need to be done up to secure the sheet to be folded, then undone to release it.
It would either need to be an M10 bolt with a fixed or sliding "Tee" on it not a hex head.
Thanks,
Shaun

hows about welding a cheap socket (ebay etc) with a T bar onto each one (maybe with a short extension)
How about making some with Eyebolts and regular bolts fitted through the eyes?
