Hi,
I have installed my K20A engine in my build and I am in the process of selecting a radiator, I am looking for a radiator good for up to 300bhp. Any
ideas guys?
Regards
Sam
How much horsepower do radiators give?

I havnt run it yet but I've just bought a 55mm thick alloy rad from Coolex on a polo frame format. It's modified with the in and out at
opposite sides to make it a single pass. Nothing bigger is gong in there. But they do a 70mm thick one.
I am hoping it will be upto the job.

I have a dolomite sprint rad in my locost. engine is a 4litre rover v8. seems to have done a good job over 8000 miles, and several trips to le mans in the sunshine
I used one of these eBay Item Keeps the Jag engine at around 85 degrees, whatever the weather.
Done a couple of thousand miles, so far so good
Big vote for coolex radiator
Depends on budget and space where it will fit, as well as inlet/outlet position and to lesser extent diameter.
First port of call is on a radiator manufacturer website to look at radiator dimensions fitted to cars with similar bhp.
Once you have chosen a few that fit, see price and take a look at eBay if an aluminium radiefor the car/model exists and in budget.
The last resort is custom, down side it is ££££ and secondly not being a standard part may take a while to get a replacement.
I had a standard polo rad and it couldn't keep cool on a long hot track session. Swapped for the Coolex version which seems to have cooling capacity to spare.
