There are a few brokers offering private fleet insurance as opposed to the usual multicar nonsense that never works out any cheaper. Has anyone tried it? Any recommendation? 3x tin top insurances is starting to take it's toll.

I don't have an answer, but will watch with interest
As I currently only have one car, as the 7 has gone but I will be buying something else soon,
possibly an Xk8, and as I am the only driver in my house, and no named drivers, it doesn't really matter
how many cars I have, as I can only drive one, and the other will be tucked up in the garage/driveway,
so why do we have to pay such inflated prices for insurance ?

What would make more sense was to insure both or any car for Fire and theft only, and take out a policy to cover me

assuming there is such a policy ?
