I just saw this car battery in the street here in Lagos, must be a rip off of Bosch I think. It made me laugh, so just wanted to share it......

Tins of Star beer is about 29p at the supermarket. They also have Harp beer too, remember that?

A pub I drink in occasionally has a blackboard in the gents with “Beer Facts written up on one side, one of the facts is there is more Guinness drunk in Nigeria than in Ireland! At about that point I peed on my foot, the board is above the urinal

I have fond memories of drinking Guiness in Nigeria in 1987 on a beach so long you could not see the ends. Kids would wander over to sell beer wrapped up in a damp sack to keep it cool....Great place for all its troubles and reputation -
