ok clever people, 2009 citroen picasso diesel, looks like the PAT tank needs filling up, fluid is a litre and deady dangerous, has anyone topped one up ?,you tube videos show it,s a bit of a job, it,s for a friend of mine who is always skint or i would send her to a citroen specalist
The fluid is a cerium oxide based fluid (not particularly hazardous but stains everything) ,the vehicle is on the changeover age and is likely to have
a replaceable "bag" rather than a refillable tank. I have had quite a few of those bags split before replacement age, staining the car and
road below.
The bag type is a more concentrated fluid than earlier vehicles, with only 1l to last 75k miles.
iirc this is the correct type;

Ah thanks, ill give that a try
Not done the bag type but the tank type can be filled using a readily available hose which uses a quick release fitting and a screw on connector, just hang the fluid container higher than the tank and let gravity do its job. Think the fluid was called Elios?
the owner told me it was eolys and not pat, it depends on the build date, a bit of digging and i find there are quite a few variations that are not compatable with each other, we have found a citroen specialist in town and i suggested taking it there as it was doing my head in so glad i have an old petrol shed
