From my username there is a good chance you can work out one of the things I do for a living.
On Saturday I went and picked up my brand new Mercedes GLC. Well pleased with it, even it's like chalk and cheese compared to my BMW M140i.
I managed 150 miles before it needed to be picked up on a flatbed and returned to Mercedes.
Guess what broke....................yep, the starter motor. You couldn't write it could you.
After only covering 150 miles.
Great advert.
Gutted for you.
Now that would never happen if it was a lucas motor.
And I'm changing my name to winthelotteryman.
I'm guessing you're the bloke with the gun at the start of an athletics race.

You'd shoot someone at Mercedes
I thought this was going to be a thread about pintos.
I used to have an Alfa 156 V6. I loved it and apart from a few rattles it was never a problem. After a couple or three years I thought I was probably
pushing my luck and bought a Toyota Avensis est. Most boring car I've ever had but it was a Toyota so should be bomb proof. Bloody gearbox went
on it on my first long run
Fixed it, sold it to a taxi driver (slight profit) and went back to the Alfa which I hadn't found a buyer for.
I'd reject it.....
