looks great as usual

but really 350miles since built, hardly seems worth the effort, unless the speedo is new and their telling porkies

Very nice but out of my price range! Odd that the text makes no reference to the passenger seat although a couple of the pics show this.

I know the full history of this one! Originally built by a meticulous builder over a period of years, build stalled due to family issues & his wife's illness, eventually restarted & was IVA'd 2015/16. However, as it had taken around 7 years things had changed in his & his families' lives & he never really used the car, it was put up for sale & sold almost immediately to an odd chap who'd had a no. of kitcars/bikes & stuff in the past, I think from what I could gather from him that basically the performance scared him stiff & he was frightened to take the thing out (I did say he was an odd chap!), he approached me & asked if I'd buy the car back from him for around half what he'd paid!

I assumed there must be something wrong with the car, but went & had a look & it was just as it had left the original builder, pretty much immaculate with the exception of a slightly dodgy DIY wrap. IIRC it had similar mileage then & I believe I did the MoT & mileage check which confirmed previous lower mileage - can't do it now as reg has changed, it had an F1 plate on it then which I still have on retention

Tony (the guy who owns it now), had already approached me for either a kit or part built car & when I got this felt it would be ideal for him as I knew he wanted to remake all the bodywork to make it a proper tribute to the Ferrari 310B, we did a deal & he's been busy remodelling for the last 8 months or so, not at all sure he's ever driven the car - hence I'd find the mileage quite believable - it's about as near to a brand new car as you can get when SH parts are involved!

I wasn't actually sure the rear seat was still accessible until I saw the pic, I can only assume it's not been mentioned as possibly it draws away from the idea of it being a "replica"?
