converting a trailer to a covered trailer

im wanting to convert my bj minno to a fully enclosed trailer. at present the car fits perfectly unless tyres are fitted to the low level tyre rack up front.(the radical is so low it hits the tyres) so im wanting to have a lower front section with my low level tyre rack above it (external) and a higher mid/rear section with storage above!
any ideas how to go about this?

I converted my BJ trailer using 100mm galv trunking as a frame clad internally with twinwall plastic sheeting. The galv trunking is stiff and light and the twinwall sheeting stops condensation and lets light in.

Looks really chunky

Been using it nearly 10 years now.

thanks. im not after anything special.just a box section frame and some type of plastic/ally sheet to cover it!

I seen that about a month ago and was very interested in it until I measured out my MNR and realised the car was too long to fit

and you think the mnr is long! radical bodywork is even longer!

cheapest way is to make a light box section frame and get a pvc cover made ( last time i priced the cover up it was about £300 ). Doing it the proper way grp panels etc will cost over a £1000 by comparison to have a full height trailer. And if you can make sure the front has a point on it unless your towing with a big van or freelander etc. I had a 2 different trailers that where covered i towed both with my 330d bmw the one with a blunt square front end best i could get towing was 22mpg with the pointed front used to get over 32mpg, so if your planning on doing a lot of mileage it makes a hell of a difference
