We took the ZETEC out of a Caterham to replace the clutch the bellhousing and the gearbox....
It has been a problematic journey......as the bell housing has not had the milling done and fouls the flywheel...... the new gearbox has a shortshaft
so that didnt fit.....
as well as that caterham have a welded in gearbox mount........well it hasnt got one now as we modified that to bolt in now so the tail of the gear
box can swing in in one piece.
Locosts are so over engineered to the cat..... as some of the tubes are paper thin.
