bought a gearbox mount/crossmember from SHP, but it doesn't fit
they race with a rocket box, i'm using type 9, so it was expected I suppose. it doesn't quite line up.. not far out right enough

Will need to make my own cross member i think. it just so happens the type 9 box mount passed directly through the centre of the cross member, so should be pretty starightforward. i hope.

if no one's got one to sell me, photos will be good enough for now

what if i was to use a piece of threded studding, with a peice of nylon in the middle?

on a cotton reel bush for example, does the threaded part run all the way through, or are they seperate in the middle?

or where could i get a cotton reel bush with the same thread for the threaded hole on the gearbox?
