"But what's wrong with my Matiz?"
That should be very easy question to ask.......Where do we start ;-)
Start with safety of a tiny tin box, and work up from there ;-)

Brilliant that. You can thrash the nuts off it and when all the electrics go awol your mum is there to pay the bills.
My mums only got a Peugot 206 which she wont let me drive cos she blames me for wearing out the camshaft on her LADA nearly thirty years ago.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

You seem to be stuck in the 80's, the Fiat Panda (which the 500 is essentialy) has very good reliability ratings.

Hi, its the abarth 500 which is 1.4 turbo. This car is the none SS version, recommended my to mum not to get the upgrade due to harsher ride etc

Fair point that seeing as it was a white FIAT Panda from the 80's that I was basing the statement on.

Do you get the same comedy body roll that you get in a Panda? They're brilliant little cars though I hate the way the instruments are laid out
in he 500 (Which is why I got a Panda).
My Mum won't let me drive her car because I once reved the engine loudly on the driveway (Because I was in neutral and not reverse).

Nice, although you are going to have to tell her it's against the law to drive like an old woman. A car like that needs a good shove now and
again.
Not that your mum's going to be like the old duffer in the R8 that I nearly rear-ended cos they were doing 25 on a 60 road!
