Just imagine the points system
You would buy the car from Uncle Ern and they buy a contract to be able to drive it - on his wacky terms.

I was under the impression the deadline was 22:00 hrs last night and if a buyer wasn't found it was cutains for SAAB.

Maybe he saw how much cash the Phoenix Four managed to make out of Rover and wants to have a go at the same business plan with Saab.
