Any deals about on oil?

I'm about to change the oil in the tin top which would appear to drink single malt castrol turbo diesel 0W-30. Halfrauds want £45. Anyone know anywhere cheaper?

Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely coincidental. Some assembly required. Batteries not included. Contents may settle during shipment. Use only as directed. No other warranty expressed or implied. Do not use while operating a motor vehicle or heavy equipment. Subject to approval, terms and conditions apply. Apply only to affected area. For recreational use only. All models over 18 years of age. No user-serviceable parts inside. Subject to change. As seen on TV. One size fits all. May contain nuts. Slippery when wet. For office use only. Edited for television. Keep cool; process promptly.

Unless you need a VW PD oil Morrisions petrol forecourts (not in store) sell Havoline Synthetic for under £17 for a full 5 litres they also 5w/40 at a good price.

If your engine is VAG group PD oils are not all to the same specification if you want to use extended service intervals check very carfully what specifcation number of PD oil is required some are only available from VW dealers

I always use Comma oils from the local parts store. Fully specified and usually much cheaper than the 'big' brands.

If you can get a Halfraud's trade card then their own brand oils are usually 1/2 price

For reference The halfords own oils are actually branded Comma oils.

They are also made to the same spec as the equivilent castrol oils.

Most own brand oils in the UK are Comma --- not a lot wrong with Comma lubricants
