Pistonheads magazine??
I've got a long train journey this morning so stopped by the newsagents fpr something to read and I found ''Pistonheads - The best
bits 2009''. Is this the first one they've done? I've never seen it before.
It was £6 which I think is more than even Top Gear nowadays but looks pretty good from initial flick through.

Not seen that - might have to keep an eye out for it...
I remember a few years ago, PH was bought by a publishing house - Haymarket? - so it's probably an easy way for them to make some money out of
the website.....
The Evo specials are about a tenner each, I've not seen one yet that I felt compelled to spend that much on....

This was the first one, I think.
It was available thorugh the website before Christmas.
If it is a success there may be more (perhaps anually) though I think this one covered more than the previous year (I may be wrong).
It was quite interesting to see how the other half lives/drives...
VERY funny re-printed thread about taking a cat to the vet...

I got a copy from my girlfriend who works at haymarket on various motorpsort mags and works with the PH guys too.
I think its a really good mag, and although i didnt pay, its worth £6.
If it was a hard back its almost coffee table book worthy! feedback i gave to garlick on PH anyway!

Topgear cost about £4 which seems to be going rate these days for a fairly standard magazine. Its much better value than some of the other magazines I
used to buy (I used to buy about 8 monthlies, down to just TG now) which were all the same sort of money but some were much smaller with higher
amounts of adverts.
In a White Room, With Black Curtains, By the Station.
