removing rusted/seized allen head bolts from exhaust can

I need to repack my can, but the 4 allen head bolts holding the end plate on are seized solid, have soaked in wd40 for a few days and tried heating it, but they just won't budge. any other suggestions?

plus gas is more effective than wd40 - available (When i last got some) from halfords.

Have you tried shocking them?

What about tightening them a little?

What about heating lots and then cooling rapidly (although this may have other side effects on the rest of the can)

Old trick used for years to remove rusted bolts from guard rails. Heat the bolt head to cherry red then douse in cold water, or as we do in winter, throw it in the snow (need 6" snow).
