Supplier of old Peugeot bits?

Bloke in the office has a Pug 309GR, from 1991, that needs new front drive shafts and wheel bearings. It's in really decent nick so he'd like to repair it - but unfortunately his garage can't get new parts from Peugeot.

He's not the sort of bloke who would go and ferret around a scrapyard as he's not savvy with car mechanicals, and anyway there's a fair chance that they'd be no better than what he's got, so he's looking for an independent supplier who may hold those parts.

So, anyone know of a supplier of old Pug parts?

Ta.

As usual the local pug forum is the best place.
Most of the pug and small citreons share the same platfoms so there is a lot of parts about.

have you tried any of the local motorfactors ?

I got quoted £50 each for complete brand new shafts for my 106 (aka: Mango's 106 )

they normally stock ones from amk, QH or similar....

GSF - German Swedish & French Car Parts are my preferred supplier for Pug parts.

Thanks for all the links - I'd forgotten GSF - I've passed them over to him to do some research.

He's a self-confessed mechanical numpty, so I've been trying to stay at arm's length and not get too involved!

I think it's going to an uneconomic repair though... it'll probably be off to the scrappy I think, although it does have some sentimental value for him.
