OT Ford C max expert please
A guy at work has a 54 plate Cmax
The sounder for when you have left your lights on has packed up, the seat belt sounder still works, I have been told they use the same sounder unit
for both so what could be wrong?
Cheers
Steve.

Does the bing bong work for other things such as handbrake on, low temperature warning?
Do the internal lights definately come on when the door is opened, not just unlocked with the blipper or when the keys come out of the ignition?
My wife had the same on her Golf. She was convinced that it was just the bing bong for the lights that had failed because it worked for everything
else. It turns out that the internal lights don't come on when the door is opened, she just hadn't noticed because the lights come on
when the door is unlocked and when the keys are removed from the ignition.
Apparently, the solder on the circuit board around the locks on Golfs is prone to cracking - thats a "taking the door to bits" job, which
I haven't got time to do at the moment.

Sorry chaps, the idiot has just told me he is not in the car today, his wife has it. So I will continue this tomorrow when he has the info.
He may even be wrong about the interior lights.
Why do I get involved.
