Overtook an Eventer on the A1 a few days ago. Looked pretty good actually. With a V12 and LPG conversion would make a great practical machine...

Nah, bin the V12 and stick a modern Jag diesel in it. Weight saving will prob make up for shortfall in power, and save a fortune in petrol (tax).

A female friend told me that most (male) gynaecologists end up gay for (kindof) that reason

hmm, I am not convinced.
the engine running of 4 culinders has to be less efficient as it still must turn over the "unused" 4 cylinders and work against the
compression in them.
It would makde sense when coasting or if the brake is applied.
