Ingliston Circuit.
Found this clip on another forum.
Warren hughes in an FVL back in 1991.
(You will see that the stands are already down by this point in time.)
If you're a fan of the place, I would save the video. It was on youtube before, but dissapeared, I assume for copyright reasons.
It's still difficult to comrehend the speed at such a tight circuit.

Great - I had the pleasure of driving this circuit (@90% according to the organiser!) for fun in 2003 & 2004 as part of a charity fund raiser with
the Classic Car Club Edinburgh. The course was cut off so you had to pull into the "pits" every lap but still great fun. I was fine in the
Locost and in control but have frightening memories of taking a passenger lap in a V8 SSC stylus with a driver who was testing the limits of his
skills (no doubt trying to show off to me). When you see an Oak tree approaching sideways it certainly makes you consider whether you visited the loo
before the lap.

It was a great track in it's day and I wish it still existed TBH.
Now I feel very old. But at least I did get to see the place in its heyday.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

It was a very satisfying circuit to race on the run up through the slightly undulating Esses to Caravan was special, Getting Caravan exactly right
was critical to fast lap. If you wanted to see a master class on how to take this corner John Fyda was the driver to watch. ,
Short straight then Backstand which was a type of high speed corner that you don't see on modern circuits --- flat out for the Imps but
for big engined Supersaloon cars a major challenge.
Backstraight sweeps down to Hairpin good over taking opportunity but easy to misjudge the entrance and brake too early, then a squirt of power
change up to third gather it all together for left hander an odd corner with some reverse camber that no driver I met ever felt he had truly
mastered. A good over taking spot because of this.
I the blink of an eye you are going downhill into Clock relatively easy lefthand corner lots of camber, bankers past the pits and merge into Arena,
great fun in the wet. Going through Arena with stand towering above you was a great feeling, the line through Arena is largely dictated by getting
the car set up for the best possible line through Esses so as you go over the pedestrian crossing point the outside wheels should almost be on the
cobbles. Time for a deep breath before setting your sights on the straightish line through the Esses for Caravan

OK so now I've looked through the pictures on the link posted by BT above.
What do I have to do to get my hands on a Chevron B8 or B52 ?? They are brilliant!

Officially yes --- most drivers knew it as "Back Stand" coz it wuz on the back straight.

If you have a very very deep wallet you could order a new B8 or B16 or B19 the B1 is also available.
http://www.chevronracing.com/default.aspx?appid=2102
The Bolton built Derek Bennett Chevrons were pretty special the B8 was an exceptioinally inspired design, the line continued through the very sexy
B16 (which looked like a mini Lola T70) and its direct development the Porsche 908 look a like B19 which in turn evolved through as the B21, B23, B26,
B31.
The B19 in the Ingliston pictures you will see a picture of Ian McLarens Chevron B26 that was an exceptionally beautiful and immaculate Porsche 908
style car
After Derek Bennetts sad death in hang gliding accident in 1978 ex F1 designer Tony Southgate kept the designs fresh for a couple of years until
the rights were bought out by Tony Charnell & Robin Smith.

When I was at the highland show last year there was a chap promoting future plans for the show grounds. I suggested they bring back the circuit.
"what circuit" he said. He was just a young whipper snapper. Anyway, he said he would pass on my comments.
Fingers crossed.

As we speak, it's more then likely that there will be a sprint there this year, which would be very cool indeed.
